I am hard wired to battle through challenges and self-motivated to reach lofty goals. After going undrafted in an attempt to be a pro soccer player, I trained on my own for 18 months in hopes of being invited to a try out. Once I had my chance, I outperformed several drafted players and earned a spot on the Boston Breakers in the first women's professional league in 2003.
I began my teaching career when the WUSA folded because of financial issues. While teaching, I launched a soccer coaching business. I wanted to create eLearning courses to share my skills with youth coaches across the country. I joined the Applied Instructional Design Academy to learn the necessary technical skills to put this plan in motion.
Only a few months into the program I realized I wanted to make instructional design my career. Building off my knowledge of how to motivate learners, I earned credentials in Storyline, Rise, Vyond, eLearning, and Instructional Design. I am eager to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your company.
